The Book Thief is an amazing book and so important. Not quite sure why it's being marketed as young adult, as the themes are definitely adult with wartime, Nazi Germany. However, the YA label should not deter adults from reading it. It's a book that will grab you and carry you on the journey with it's main character and insightful narrator. It's harrowing and beautiful and devastating. It must be read.
