E has taken to going to the library with his Dad and together they pick out books that Eand I read through the week. We LOVE the Charlie and Lola books. The author writes Lola the way a real toddler talks and the images follow a bit of an alternative illustration/graphic design combo that is really fun to look at. The books are fun and whimsical and can almost always generate some laughter. Admittedly, I stole this photo layout from a blog I have seen and was rather enamored by it. The focus is on the book, with his posture and hands indicating a readiness to start reading.
